Fear is the dragon
that waits to eat
the hope,
of the knight within
that dares to challenge
the scaffolds and the towers
of the world,
and dark is the night
deposed of day,
the candle extinguished
the joy diminished
under the whip hand
pressed by time
and those opposed
to the knight
that shakes its armour
through the trials and tribulations
of mortal humanity
as human nature
walks and talks
quakes and breaks
against the tremors
of oppression
courage to feed he knight within
against the dark
that gropes and covers
all asunder with deception
feed the knight to fight the dragon
against eternal darkness
until dawn comes again
a million light years
from past to future
until dawn comes again
